Lawrence "Larry" Jacquelin (July 13, 1923 – November 25, 1992) was a former American NASCAR driver.
Jacquelin was born on July 13, 1923, in New Haven, Connecticut. He was an avid fan of car racing, and a stunt driver with cars and motorcycles.[1] On September 14, 1952, Jacquelin competed in his first and only Nextel Cup Series event, at Langhorne Speedway, in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.[2] Starting 39th in the forty-four car field, Jacquelin fell out early due to overheating problems, resulting in a dismal 41st place effort.[3] Shortly after Jacquelin was struck with Polio; he eventually recovered, though not fully. In his later years the lingering effects of Polio amplified and finally took his life.[4]
